After 18 years of being a television meteorologist, almost 10 of those in
Hampton Roads, Dave made the jump to radio in 2006. Joining US 106 in
2007, you can hear him weekdays from 10 - 3.
While television afforded him the opportunity to be on the Dating Game,
The Today Show, CNN, and Late Night With David Letterman, radio has been
an enjoyable switch. "It's great going to work without a tie wrapped
around your neck, or worrying about the weather all the time. Playing
country music, talking to our listeners, giving concert tickets away, and
just plain having a good time, has a been an awesome move for me and my
family."
In addition to spending as much time as possible getting to and from work
on his motorcycle, Dave likes to head to the western part of the state for
some smallmouth fishing and floating the James River. Good times!
Dave lives in the Kempsville area of Virginia Beach with his wife and two
daughters.
